ZzzZap! — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the mobile app “ZzzZap!” for Android and iOS (iPhone), provided by Fabio Bartucci (“the Service Provider”).

Information we collect

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, address, email or payment details. When you use the app, the following data may be collected automatically by the app and by the third-party services listed below:

  • Device identifiers: on iOS the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking, plus app-instance and installation identifiers; on Android the advertising ID.
  • Approximate location derived from the IP address (never precise GPS location).
  • Usage data: app launches, screens viewed, games played, scores, and interactions with ads.
  • Diagnostic data: crash reports and performance data.

Game progress, local high scores, bonus charges and settings are stored on your device. If Android backup is enabled on your device, this data may be included in your device backup under Google’s terms.

How we use the data

  • To show optional rewarded video ads (Google AdMob) and measure them.
  • To understand how the game is used and improve it (Firebase Analytics).
  • To detect and fix crashes (Firebase Crashlytics).

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and tracking

Rewarded videos are optional: they play only when you tap a button marked with a play icon (extra time, double score, power-up recharge).

  • In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) asks for your choice before ads are personalised. You can change it at any time in Settings > Privacy options (GDPR).
  • On iOS, the app asks for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before your IDFA can be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, the IDFA is not shared and you may still see non-personalised ads. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.

Leaderboards

  • On iOS, the worldwide leaderboard uses Apple Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, your score and your Game Center nickname are sent to Apple and shown to other players. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. You can play without Game Center.
  • On Android, the leaderboard uses Google Play Games Services under Google’s privacy policy.

Third-party services

These services may process data outside your country; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or your consent where required by law.

Data retention

Automatically collected analytics and crash data are retained for up to 24 months; aggregated statistics may be kept longer. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. California residents have the right to know, to delete and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect the data and will notify users of data breaches where required by law.

Changes

This policy may be updated; changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
