TiltMaze — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the TiltMaze app for Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad), together with any related services operated by Fabio Bartucci (“the Service Provider”).

Information we collect

TiltMaze does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email or any other personal details. The game plays offline; when the device is online, the app and the third-party services listed below may automatically collect:

  • Device identifiers: on Android the advertising ID and app-instance identifiers; on iOS identifiers used by Google AdMob for ad delivery and measurement. The iOS app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so it does not access the IDFA.
  • Approximate location derived from the IP address (never precise GPS location).
  • Usage data (Android): app launches, screens viewed, levels played and interactions with ads.
  • Diagnostic data (Android): crash reports.

Level progress, stars, records, levels you build in the editor and settings are stored on your device. They are not synchronised between platforms and, unless restored from a Google backup on Android, are deleted when you uninstall the app.

How we use the data

  • To show ads — a banner and optional rewarded videos — through Google AdMob, and to measure them.
  • To understand how the game is used and improve it (Firebase Analytics, Android only).
  • To detect and fix crashes (Firebase Crashlytics, Android only).
  • To show the leaderboard (Google Play Games Services on Android, Apple Game Center on iOS).

We do not sell your personal information.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) asks for your choice before ads are personalised. You can change it at any time in Settings > Privacy Options. With no network connection, no ads are shown. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.

Leaderboards

  • On Android, the leaderboard uses Google Play Games Services: your score and Play Games profile name are processed by Google under Google’s privacy policy.
  • On iOS, the leaderboard uses Apple Game Center: if you are signed in, your score and Game Center nickname are sent to Apple and shown to other players, under Apple’s privacy policy.

Third-party services

International data transfers

These services may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions or your consent.

Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose information as required by law, when necessary to protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or respond to a government request, and to trusted service providers acting on its behalf under this policy.

Data retention

Automatically collected analytics and crash data are retained for up to 24 months; aggregated, anonymised statistics may be kept longer. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. California residents have the right to know, to delete, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Contact app.fbmb@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 16, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and it will be deleted.

Security and data breaches

The Service Provider takes reasonable physical, electronic and procedural measures to protect information and will notify you of a data breach affecting your personal data as required by applicable law.

Changes

This policy may be updated; changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. Previous versions are available on request.
