Ringtone Maker AI — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Ringtone Maker AI app for Android, provided by Fabio Bartucci (“the Service Provider”). Ringtone Maker AI is an Android app for turning audio tracks into ringtones.

Information we collect

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email or payment details. When the device is online, the app and the third-party services listed below may automatically collect:

  • Device identifiers: the Android advertising ID and app-instance identifiers.
  • Approximate location derived from the IP address (never precise GPS location).
  • Usage data: app launches, screens viewed, feature usage and interactions with ads.
  • Diagnostic data: crash reports, performance data (for example app start time and network request timings).

The audio files you open, the ringtones and clip packs you create, and settings are stored only on your device. If Android backup is enabled on your device, this data may be included in your device backup under Google’s terms.

You choose which track to open through the Android file picker: the app only reads the files you select. Hook detection (“AI”), trimming and fades are computed on your device and your audio is never uploaded. Saved ringtones are written to your device’s media storage (on Android 9 and earlier, storage permission is requested to allow saving). The “modify system settings” permission is used only to set a ringtone as your default when you ask for it.

How we use the data

  • To show ads through Google AdMob and measure them.
  • To understand how the app is used and improve it (Firebase Analytics).
  • To detect and fix crashes (Firebase Crashlytics).
  • To measure and improve app performance (Firebase Performance Monitoring).
  • To show Google Play’s in-app rating prompt.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising

The app shows Google AdMob ads. Interstitials and optional rewarded videos. To select and measure ads, Google AdMob may use the advertising ID, IP address and approximate location, device information and ad interactions. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings › Google › Ads.

Third-party services

These services may process data outside your country; where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or your consent.

Data retention

Automatically collected analytics and diagnostic data are retained for up to 24 months; aggregated statistics may be kept longer. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time; you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, to delete, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Contact app.fbmb@gmail.com.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect the data and will notify users of data breaches where required by law.

Changes

This policy may be updated; changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
